Pyramids

Imagine standing in a land where the sun paints the sand in shades of gold and the wind tells ancient tales. I am a giant, made of enormous stone blocks stacked high, so high they almost tickle the clouds! For a very, very long time, I’ve been here, watching over this sandy kingdom.

Long, long ago, clever people called the ancient Egyptians built me. They were super busy, like a hive of bees, and they wanted me to be a very special home for their kings, the pharaohs. These pharaohs believed they’d travel to another world when they passed on, and they thought I would help them on their journey. So, thousands of strong workers, with a lot of grit and determination, carefully cut and moved gigantic stones, some as big as a car, to build me. It was a super long project, taking many, many years to finish!

Now, explorers and adventurers from all over the globe come to marvel at me. They can’t believe how big and old I am! I’ve seen more sunrises and sunsets than anyone can count, and I still stand tall and proud. I show everyone that when people work together and have big dreams, they can build amazing things. I’m a reminder of a faraway past and a symbol of wonder. I still inspire people to dream big and work together, connecting us all across time.
